Individual Counseling - Are you experiencing struggles with temptation and various forms of suffering? If you would like someone to provide helpful guidance and perspective in the midst of your struggle, please contact us.

Marital Counseling - Are you and your spouse facing some difficulties? It is not unusual for couples to encounter struggles that are unique to the various stages of married life. Please contact us so that we can assist you.

We came to Tim because we wanted a knowledgeable and experienced counselor. After attending a class he conducted on marriage and reading one of his books, we were glad to learn that he works with couples. His counseling process draws on the insights from empirical research as well as scriptural truth. Tim not only gave us wise counsel, but also practical readings, exercises, and examples. We always left equipped and encouraged! Our marriage is stronger because of our time with Tim.

Counseling Intensives -  We offer intensives for people traveling at a distance as well as those who may need more than just one session per week. Please inquire if this is something that you may need. Out of town travel to our office is easy since we are just south of the Atlanta airport.

Professional Consultation for Pastors and Business Leaders - Would you like to set up a one-time or ongoing consultation for pastoral issues and questions you may have? This can be done in person or via Skype. Here is what one pastor has to say about his monthly meetings:

I always look forward to the times I get to talk with Tim Lane. It is great to speak with someone from outside my ministry ‘bubble’. The counsel he gives is carefully considered, theologically deep and practically wise. It is a real ‘breath of fresh air.’ Peter Sondergeld--Lead Pastor, The Project Church, Queensland, Australia

Our Counseling Distinctives: In order to help you determine whether we are the best fit for you, here is a brief description of the kind of counseling we offer. We would be happy to answer any other questions in the process of setting up your first appointment.

Compassionate: We take your struggles seriously because we struggle, too. While we emphasize change and growth, we avoid quick judgments and easy solutions. Life is complicated and people are complex. Therefore, we listen intently before we offer any counsel.

Christ-centered: No matter what your problem or experience of suffering, we believe that Jesus is central to the change process. He not only provides us with the wisdom and power we need to help, he provides himself. Therefore, we aim to connect you more to him no matter how complex the problem.

Comprehensive: Human struggles are often rooted in a combination of physiological, psychological, social and situational influences. We want to take all of that into consideration as we get to know you. While taking those factors into consideration, our goal remains committed to assisting you to see how your relationship with Christ is central to the growth process.

Encouraging: While you may be going through a difficult season, there are always good things that God is doing as well. Sometimes you may be the last to see these good things. We believe that the most powerful way to provide help is to give hope by helping you see what God is doing.

Professional: Even though our intentions may be good, without skill and experience, they are not enough. Therefore, our counselors bring experience and skill to help you grow.
